Midnight Garden

Alongside the release of the LEGO x Crocs ‘Red Brick Crocs’, LEGO and Crocs also released their ‘Midnight Garden’ collection, a classic Crocs clog with integrated LEGO features, including LEGO brick flowers. As part of the marketing campaign, a series of short animations were created featuring the shoe floating in a garden comprising both real and LEGO flowers. The flowers were animated in 3D and composited into the existing photography, along with smoke, to create a visual asset that felt elusive and mysterious.

I textured, animated, lit and rendered the LEGO flowers, animated the shoe itself, and composited the smoke into the final scene.
